Giulio co-founded GiuNapoli together with his brother, Daniel, to realize their dream of introducing authentic Neapolitan Pizza to the world. In 2015, Giulio registered with Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN). He has since shared his expertise with businesses across the globe, traveling from Naples to Australia, Anguilla, the Netherlands, Hungary, Thailand, and beyond. Giulio is currently based in Switzerland.

We highly recommend GiuNapoli. We initially met Giulio Abussi during our Pizza Training in Naples. We continued to stay in touch with Giulio and after we set up our Pizzeria in Anguilla we invited Giulio to do a consulting with us in order to optimize our setup, streamline our process and ensure that all rules and regulations as laid out by the AVPN for making True Neapolitan Pizza are in place and followed. After the consulting, Artisan Pizza Napoletana applied for and achieved certification under the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana – #618. Giulio has incredible knowledge about pizza, pizza making and everything surrounding pizza. He has a high level of energy and is an incredible patient trainer and consultant. We would work with him again on any future projects.

My interest in pizzas started about 25 years ago, when I first discovered Italian pizza. In recent years I have specialized in Neapolitan pizza and I felt I could make the Neapolitan pizza well. I signed up for a web course at GiuNapoli, and that was when I understood how important knowledge about adjusting the dough is, and all the important techniques in making it. I now feel I can make pizzas on a completely different level than before. I have learnt an incredible amount from GiuNapoli and now have a brand new and better pizza. I had a chance to meet Giulio Abussi during my master training in AVPN. Then again luckily he was helping Salvatore when I was having my internship at Casa de Rinaldi. When I needed to invite a trainer for my team for my second restaurant he was my top choice already. Giulio Abussi is one of a kind pizza maestro with top level communication skills, enormous energy, and of course world class pizza knowledge and skills. After him, my team was much more motivated and deeply in love to their pizza job. No need to say the dough, and the pizza become perfect also. He does the job by making sure every one is having fun. First of all in 2018 Giulio was our trainer at the AVPN Pizza Napoletana course and he was very professional about the training. One year later we hired him to help open our place in Budapest, Hungary Donna Mamma Pizza Napoletana. He was with us for one month and helped with the international sourcing of the ingredients, the equipments and also with the recipes and methods. Giulio is a professional tutor with huge theoretical and practical knowledge in the pizza industry and also he is very good in teaching the colleagues of all levels. If we would start again, we’d definitely ask him again!
